Pranic Healing is a highly evolved and tested system of energy medicine developed by GrandMaster Choa Kok Sui that utilizes prana to balance, harmonize and transform the body's energy processes. Prana is a Sanskrit word that means life-force. This invisible bio-energy or vital energy keeps the body alive and maintains a state of good health. In acupuncture, the Chinese refer to this subtle energy as Chi. It is also called Ruach or the Breath of Life in Hebrew.
Pranic Healing is a simple yet powerful and effective system of energy healing. It is based on the fundamental principles that the body is a self-repairing living entity that possesses the ability to heal itself and that the healing process is accelerated by increasing this life force that is readily available from the sun, air and ground to address physical & emotional imbalances. This pervasive energy that surrounds, interpenetrates and sustains the physical body, also affects our emotions, our ability to handle stress, relationships and even our finances.
Pranic Healing is a non-touch system of healing. Physical contact is not required because the practitioner is working on the bioplasmic or energy body and not directly on the physical body. This energy body, or aura, is the mold or blueprint that surrounds and interpenetrates the physical body. It is the energy body that absorbs life energy and distributes it throughout the physical body, to the muscles, organs, glands, etc. Pranic healers “scan,” or actually feel the aura and chakras, to assess areas of energetic depletion and congestion or stagnation, which helps identify problem areas that need healing.
Pranic Healing employs a manual cleansing technique called “sweeping” to remove blockages and stagnant energies before giving fresh energy to the patient. Pranic healing is based on the belief that cleansing is critical to the healing process because diseased energies and negative emotions have to first be removed before energizing the body or they may manifest physically, and sometimes dramatically, through vomiting, loose bowel movement, a rash, flu or other symptoms. Such expelling is often labeled as “detoxification” by other healing modalities, however, it is quite uncomfortable and can be prevented with proper sweeping.
Pranic Healing employs a “cookbook” approach to healing. According to thousands of case reports gathered by Grand-Master Choa Kok Sui, every ailment produces a unique set of energy patterns that can be identified in the energy body’s 11 major chakras and numerous meridians. Pranic healing uses specific energetic routines of cleansing and energizing that are matched to the specific patterns of energetic deficiencies caused by a particular illness. Pranic healing, thus, offers a quicker, more targeted and more effective system of healing. Pranic healing also employs the use of color energies that dramatically accelerate the body’s innate healing abilities.
Pranic Healing can be used to effectively relieve any type of physical imbalance (acne, allergies, headaches, fever, constipation, arthritis, high cholesterol, asthma, fatigue, chronic pain) and emotional imbalances (trauma, phobias, anxiety, depression, addictions, insomnia, appetite disorders.) “I have been using Pranic Healing in a standard medical practice. It has been used to effectively treat migraine headaches, labyrinthitis, chronic bladder pain, menstrual cramps, anxiety, insomnia, irritable bowel syndrome, and musculoskeletal problems. It has proven to be an excellent complement to my standard practice of allopathic medicine.” -Eric Robins, M.D. Board Certified Urologist, Kaiser Medical Center
